Nota al testo
Il 20 Ottobre 1944, alle ore 11.29, gli abitati dei quartieri Gorla e Precotto di Milano, furono investiti da quasi 80 tonnellate di esplosivo, rilasciati per errore da un commando aereo a capo dell'United States Army Air Forces, causando la morte di 184 bambini e dell'intero corpo docente della scuola elementare "Francesco Crispi". Nella città di Milano, in quel funesto 20 ottobre, furono 614 le vittime estratte dalle macerie, oltre ad alcune centinaia di feriti. Dedicato alla loro memoria, solo un monumento, nessun processo, nessun colpevole.
