about

(Including 19 live bonus track from 2007 to 2009!)

Guida all'ascolto / Essential tracks:
"Fame" (track 1)
"Flower of Innocence" (track 8)
"Amanti in Guerra" (track 5)
"La Mosca stregata" (track 2)

Cinemanemico was the first release credited to NichelOdeon. It was recorded live in two shows at the beginning of the band's first tour.
The recording was possible thanks to the lucky audio (on a single track and without any edit / overdub) recorded by Paolo Siconolfi at Spazio Tadini and Villa Simonetta, in Milan, between October and November 2007.

It was conceived as the natural result of "La Stanza Suona ciò che non Vedo", as a recital based on voice, piano, solid electric riffs and a lot of electronic. There were readings from "La Scienza in Cucina e l'Arte del Mangiar Bene" by Pellegrino Artusi, in the middle of some instrumental tracks and in the end of "La torre più alta" and "Disegnando cattedrali di cellule". During the shows, we offered absinthe to the audience. Each show included video installations and sculptures on stage.

The CD tracks are all present, in a very different form, on Claudio Milano's second album, published in 2006 except for "Ciò che rimane" and two tracks written by Francesco Zago (Yugen's mastermind), the instrumental "La mosca stregata" and "Flower of Innocence" from The Night Watch's repertoire.

Long improvisations between noise, psychedelia, krautrock, crossed the most complex passages in an acidic way. We decided to publish one of them "Crisi delle 21:42" as a ghost track ...

We defined ourselves as a "Viennese family picture, before the criminal asylum".

The track "La torre più alta" was selected among the finalists of the "Omaggio a Demetrio Stratos" Review.
The album received a Progawards nomination as "Best Debut Album".
