Radical instant composing.

Call 5 musicians, 3 of jazz training, one of classical and jazz experience (Cecilia Quinteros), one active in the field of vocal perfoming art (me). Give the singer three lyrics to read and sing at the same time. Define three musicians to conduct the sonic textures (Luca Pissavini, Vito Emanuele Galante, Stefano Ferrian). Clarify to all that everything will be recorded live and that everything (or almost) will be recorded in half an hour will be published.

In this way this record was born, during an afternoon of the second half of 2011.

Only one take was excluded, an improvisation conducted by my own voice, close to the idea of ​​a funeral shamanic song (too dark and sad considering the exalted and electrifying tension of the other tracks).

No mastering was negotiated and the mixing was done in real time.

Extreme but not causal.

Tension was the highest ever experienced in my life. Something near to dangerous.

Something similar happened two years later (my experience in the world of improvisation was already more important) during the "Arcore Street Festival", with Alessandro Manca, Andrea Labate, Massimiliano Milesi, Giulio Corini. No document remained of those 5 hours non-stop of burning instant composing.
